Track Actuals & Monitor Profit Margins

This is a prototype for a tool I’m building to make bidding less painful. The idea is simple: collaborate on bids with your internal team, keep your freelancer and vendor roster in one place, and speed up the whole prepro and estimating flow. Right now it’s a spreadsheet prototype, but it already does the real math: tracks true costs, margin and profitability while you’re still bidding, helps sanity check scope, and exports a clean client facing estimate to Excel or PDF in one click.
I made the template public because I want feedback from real producers to make it sharper and more usable.
I’m still tuning it for US specifics and local quirks like payroll, overtime, insurance and rate structures, but even now it’s solid for budgeting video production projects end to end.
